Terrebonne Parish Base Camp Shelters Open

Below are the locations of the four basecamps that Louisiana Governor's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness has set up in Terrebonne Parish.
These are congregate sheltering either in tents or modular units. There are showers, restrooms, and three meals per day for camp occupants. No pre-registration is required – residents can register upon arrival.
  • Dulac – 199 Badou Drive (behind old Grand Caillou Middle across from library) - open
  • Chauvin – 258 Klondyke Rd (near intersection of Klondyke/Bayouside Dr) - open
  • Montegut – 1110 Cross St (across from Montegut Middle) - open
  • Houma – 138 Scott Lane (behind Bayou Towers) – opens Thursday, October 14 at 1pm.
